The room was a nice size and nicely decorated with beautiful view of the estauary, and we slept very well. Greatly enjoyed the location conveniently located for public transport allowing easy travel for guests to local area. Also, an 18th-century windmill was 4 km away.
Breakfast was mediocre, can definitely be improved.

Travelled with my husband, overall the hotel was lovely. The breakfast was outstanding with warm bread, hot plates too and fried eggs, and had all you need. The staff were ideal and obliging and the location was stunning in the bar area which was comfortable. Besides, the venue was 2 km away from Northam Burrows Country Park. Nothing too much trouble, I enjoyed staying in this place.

All in all everything was good, had a truly memorable stay for a nearby wedding. Remote location very close to shops and pubs Bideford town centre, very friendly and attractions all around North Devon, it was in a lovely area. The room was ideal and brilliant, had smoke detectors for the safety. The breakfast was tasty and sensational with fried eggs, prunes and tomatoes.

The outstanding breakfast had a huge variety of meals and the food I tasted was well presented. The setting was marvellous and brilliant, near to Saunton Sands and other coastal resorts, Bideford, Appledore, Barnstable and ilfracombe and the lovely North Devon coastline. Furthermore the venue was 4-6 minutes' walking distance from Victoria Park. Actually everything was excellent, my next choice again in Bideford.

Truly exceptional place, it was spotlessly clean and had friendly efficient and genuinely helpful staff with a good service. The location of the property was excellent and unbeatable, grim in overflow outlet. And we were so close to the virus-everything is supposed to be deep cleaned, and pubs Bideford town centre is about 20-30 minute walk away.
